The degree program for Bachelor of Information Technology offered by University of Moratuwa is a great oppurtunity for students like us. It enables the facility of studying the lessons from a distance.
Though we do not attend to the lectures, with the resources provided by the University as well as online sources help us to complete the program sucessfully. Since the learning responsibility is totally depends on ourselves, we have to be self motivated and pay more attention on completing our modules.
UOM has approved few institutes to provide lectures for students who follow this external degree. So students who are interested and really wanting real time lectures may find them.
This Blog is designed for the students who are following the course. Our intention is to make a virtual forum to discuss issues related to our academic stuffs.
I have bbf al reslts.f for bio. Cn i do this. Is FIT is a pathway to this? i also have oracle certified java prgrmr cert with 100% markz

ReplyDeleteIf you have the passion you can do this degree. As I understand FIT is not a university program and it offers only BIT and Private institutes may recommend their FIT (Fundamentals of IT) prior to BIT.
But in your case I think it may not necessary. Good Luck!
For ucsc bit we dnt need al. We cn do it after ucsc fit prgrm. Bt uom bit needs al 3passes. Bt i hv only 2passes. Will uom allow me to do this with this rslts.

ReplyDeleteWhen it come to the industry, I don't think the place where you get the degree matters. I mean companies may hire you even if its from private places like ICBT, ACBT etc. or places like SLIIT, UOM,USSC etc. or what ever.
There can be recognitions for certain places and it may depend on the company.
What all matters is your performance and attitude. If you are capable enough of doing your job good enough then there will be a good future for you.
